Red Ribbon Week - Spirit Week
Red Ribbon Week is October 23-31. This year the theme is "Life is a puzzle, solve it drug free". We are excited to announce that during the week of October 27th we will be hosting a Spirit Week as part of our efforts to encourage students to live a drug-free life. This is a great opportunity to promote healthy choices and have fun as a school community!
Here's the lineup for each day:
Monday October 27: Red out day - wear as much red as possible to show unity against drugs
Tuesday October 28: Sock it to drugs - wear crazy or mismatched socks
Wednesday October 29: Hats off to healthy choices - Wear a hat
Thursday October 30: Too bright for drugs - wear neon colors
Friday October 31: Say boo! To drugs - wear your Halloween costume
Per admin, students will only be allowed to wear their Halloween costume on Halloween (Friday). The wellness committee has organized fun Halloween events for Thursday the 30th, however, students who are participating in the dance/trunk or treat will have to change into their costumes prior to those events. Students should not be wearing their costumes to school on any day other than Halloween.
