Teacher G.O.A.T Award

This year students nominated 32 teachers for the GOAT Award, based on the question "Which teacher would you like to come back to visit after you graduate from high school?" The nominees were voted on in a playoff bracket style, with the top three from each day advancing to the next round. Students from all four middle school grades, as well as several high school freshmen walking home from school, voted each day. The two finalists were Zach Dorow (6th Social Studies) and Josie Gentry (5th Grade English), with Josie winning 168-147 in the Final Round. The GOAT Award prize of a plaque and $50 gift card, donated by Sidewinders, was awarded to Josie on Friday morning.
