  • Supervisor: Chrissy Stine

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Speech & Debate meets in Ms. Stine’s Room. Speech & Debate starts in November. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. 

    Purpose: Speech and debate is to build essential life skills such as critical thinking, active listening, and communication skills. It empowers individuals to organize their thoughts, confidently advocate for their perspectives, and understand opposing viewpoints

  • Supervisosr: Madison Knudsen (8th Grade Advisor), Emily Hancock (7th Grade Advisor), Hannah Hayes (6th Grade Advisor), Rachel Dunn (5th Grade Advisor)

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meets in Mrs. Hancock’s room every Wednesday, including during activities and events held by STUCO. 

    Purpose: Student council is to give students the opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. The Student Council is created to promote cooperation, responsibility, leadership, friendship, and school spirit. Student Council members help share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with the school wide community. The Student Council is the voice of the student body. It is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. 

    *Officers are elected at the beginning of the school year by their grade level student body. Involvement with the student council does require time outside of the regular school day to organize certain activities and events.

    *Volunteer members are accepted throughout the year for select activities. (Please see an advisor for more information.)

    Day and Time: Meets in Mrs. Cron’s Room. Meets monthly, Date and Time TBD.

    Purpose: RULER Club a.k.a PEP Club is a positvie engaging peoples club. They work hard to make out school a more positive and better place. 

  • Supervisor: Chrissy Stine and Casey Samollow

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meet in Ms. Stine’s Room. Meetings are on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:00pm. 

    Purpose: Builders club is the largest service organization for middle school students with more than 45,000 members worldwide. Members learn to work together and develop leadership skills as they serve their schools and community.

  • Supervisor: Brad Cachoppo

    Eligible Grades: 6th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meet in Mr. Cachopo’s Room 202. Meet on Thursdays from 12:30- 1:00pm during November to March.

    Purpose: Science bowl is a trivia competition including topics of science/math/STEM. 6th through 8th grade are open to compete which was held in Billings last year in mid March. (Most likely the same this year.) Practices will be in Cachopo’s room during lunch with the day set TBA starting possibly in December.

  • Supervisor: Ana Morris

    Eligible Grades: 6th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Date and Time: Meet in Mrs. Morris’s room, meet after school. Season between January to April.

    Purpose: Do you love science, engineering, problem solving, etc.? Science Olympics might be just right for you! The Science Olympics team is for 7th and 8th grade students, and you will have the chance to put your science knowledge and hand-on engineering to use and compete against other students/schools from all over Montana! The club meets weekly starting in October, and ends with a full day competition at MSU-Bozeman in the spring.

    Day and Time: Meets in Mrs. Cardwell’s Room. Date and Time TBD.

    Purpose: Math Counts is a nationall reconized compentives math program for middle school students.

  • Supervisor: Nicole Cardwell

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meets in MRs. Cardwell’s Room. Date and Time TBD.

    Purpose: BOTB is a competition reading club. 

  • Supervisor: Kieran Beebe

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: No deadline to join, but it’s best to get in on the beginning of the game. Meet in the Chior Room after school every Thursday from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm.

    Purpose: Offer a space for kids to play D&D.

  • Supervisor: Kieran Beebe

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meets in Choir Room. Date and Time TBD. One play in the Fall and one in the Spring.

    Purpose: We explore theatrical arts through acting, improvisation, and stagecraft.

  • Supervisor: Kelli Lehigh

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meets in Mrs. Lehigh’s Room. Date and Time TBD.

    Purpose: Creative writing is a place you can go if you like to pick up a pencil and write.

  • Supervisor: Reese Campbell

    Eligible Grades: 5th - 8th Grade

    Parent permission required.

    Day and Time: Meets in Mr. Campbell’s Room. Meets weekly, Date and Time TBD.

    Purpose: Chess club focus’s on the increasing everyone’s chess skills through strategy and continued game play.
